Rourkela Institute of Technology, the first professional institute of its kind in Western Odisha and situated near the confluence of river Sankha and Koel adjoining in the Industrial city of Rourkela bordering Odisha & Jharkhand enjoys the reputation of providing quality education in both Management and Technical courses for more than two decades since its formation in the mid eighties of the departed century.
It was established in the year 1984 under the Sponsorship of Rourkela Technical Education Society (RTES) duly registered under society registration act 1860.
